Christmas Houses

Christmas Houses (4)

Morning All.

It’s time for a new digi stamp challenge over on the Little Claire Blog. This month our theme is Christmas.

I’ve used the Christmas Houses Digital Stamp:

Christmas Houses (2)

A nice clean and simple card from me today. I printed the digi twice, once onto Copic card and once onto water colour card. I created a wash of blue on the watercolour card to look like a snowy sky and then coloured the other image with Copics and fussy cut before fixing over the other image with foam pads.

Danni in a Rainbow Meadow

Danni in Rainbow Meadow (7)

Night All. It’s a late one for me as we were watching a movie. The 2nd Andrew Garfield Spiderman and as I love love love Superhero films I couldn’t possibly do any colouring or blogging at the same time (which is what I do when I’m watching some of Hubby’s more dubious film choices!!!

Anyhoo, back to the point of my post and Make It Crafty are having a design team call for the Make It Colourful team…..and for an addicted colourer like me I just had to give it a go.

The DT Call is on the FB group and here is my card:

Danni in Rainbow Meadow (6)

I’ve merged the background image Rainbow Meadow and the main image Danni's Little Ducks to create a cute little scene. With the proportions I wanted to use the background wasn’t quite wide enough so I extended the hills and clouds out to the edges of the card when colouring.

Little Friends

Little Friends (8)

Morning all! Wonder what the weather has in store for us today. We had both sun and rain yesterday, so it was be nice to have some more sunshine today!

Anyhoo, it’s my turn on the Digi Bells Blog today and I’ve shared a card using Little Friends:

Little Friends (3)

I rather stupidly coloured this one without picking the DP so rather than spend ages hunting for something that *might* match I made another background. I made this one a little differently to the last one. This time I coloured lot’s of dots on a piece of blending card (using the same markers I used for the clothes) and then I dripped Isopropyl Alcohol onto them so the colours bled out into each other. I think it give and almost Tie-dye effect.

  • Colouring Medium: Copics
  • Card: Purple Card and X-Press It Blending Card
  • Dies & Punches: Tonic Simplicity Doily Border Punch
  • Embellishments:  Doodling and Gems

I best get a wriggle on with a few jobs then we are off to visit the in-laws and go to a nice pub for our evening meal. Thanks for stopping by

Fall at Kraftin’ Kimmie

Hannah Hearts (7)

Afternoon all! It’s Saturday  and that means it’s time for a new challenge at Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps. A little bit sad as it’s my last post as a guest designer for for the month of August but I would like to thank Kimmie and the Girls for having me join them.

Anyhoo,  back to the challenge and this week we have a fabulous theme of Fall.

I’ve used a not very fall image, Hannah Hearts, but instead used wonderful fall colours, green, orange, rust and yellow to make my card:

Hannah Hearts (8)

Go me…I didn’t really have the right card colours to match so I made my own background. I coloured a piece of blending card with the green, orange and yellow markers I used on the image and then used a pipette to drop Isopropyl Alcohol onto the card.

The Krafty Girls love seeing your creations so be sure to hop over to the blog and submit them so you are in with a chance to win a gift card to the Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps shop.

For full details on how to join in and to see the creations from the rest of the team head over to the Kraftin' Kimmie Blog and don’t forget to hop onto FB and share your lovely creations as well. If you’re not already a member of the group (tut tut) you can find it here
